As a faith based organization, Planet Ballroom has a strong commitment to charity and community. We recognize the importance of giving back and seek to set an example to other small and medium sized businesses by spreading our mission of charity. Planet Ballroom has therefore devised a concise and organized plan for our work in the community.

VOLUNTEERING
Planet Ballroom requires every member of our staff and management teams to volunteer a select number of hours each year to charitable organizations. Our staff dedicates their time helping the needy by volunteering in local children’s homes, soup kitchens and schools.

DANCING FOR DOLLARS
Every Planet Ballroom dance competition hosts our “Dancing for Dollars” fundraiser. Competing students are given the chance to find a sponsor that donates money each time they dance. Planet Ballroom then matches that donation! Dancing for Dollars provides a fun and easy way for everyone dancing at our competitions to contribute to a good cause while having the time of their lives!

DONATIONS
Planet Ballroom maintains a firm commitment to donate 10% of its profits to charity, mainly those associated with needy children. Our company works closely with many national charities such as the Ronald McDonald house and St Jude’s Children’s Hospital as well as local charities and churches. We use our excellent reputation and influence in the community as a means to help those less fortunate than us. It’s an important mission at the core of our company and we hope that being a part of our studio will encourage you to participate with us!
