How to Begin Dancing with Us
Congratulations on taking the first "step" to begin dancing at a Planet Ballroom Dance Studio! You are about to begin an exciting and life changing journey that will bring you many good times and benefits. New students of Planet Ballroom often find that their initial nervousness quickly fades once they step foot into one of our beautiful dance studios! It's our goal to make you feel welcomed and comfortable as soon as possible. Planet Ballroom has its own unique culture and we strive to help you understand and become oriented with your studio and the lessons you will be taking.
HOW TO BEGIN
It's easy to begin taking lessons at a Planet Ballroom Dance Studio! Our main customer service desk handles the scheduling for all three Charlotte area Planet Ballroom locations and is open Monday through Saturday from 9am - 9pm. Feel free to call us during those hours to schedule a personal studio tour or to ask any questions you may have. Our customer service desk can be reached at (704) 299-4003. If you wish to register for lessons online, then visit our Introductory Special Offer page for our current new student promotion. Once purchased you will be able to schedule your first lesson online as well. You may also call our customer service desk to purchase our Introductory Special Offer over the phone. Q: What should I wear on my first lesson?
A: Attire is nice casual, trendy or dressy.
Q: What shoes should I wear?
A: For your first few lessons dress shoes, loafers or heels are fine. Avoid sneakers. Dance shoes will be recommended by your teacher after you have had a few lessons.
Q: Can anyone learn to dance?
A: Planet Ballroom has a 100% success rate in turning non-dancers into dancers!
